Yet another bad wreck there. Hope no one died. How many wrecks have to happen before they fast-track a traffic light? **** poor planning there. Light should ha ve been installed when WM opened. Cancer Center made problem 10x worse.

It has been in the works for months. If I am not mistaken there is a problem with funding from VDOT to make it happen. The City can only fund so much of it without help from the State has been what I've been told.

The sad thing is it normally takes something like the accident today to make it happen. Any word as to injuries, etc. I have seen two helicopters circling the City for quite some time now.

The current rumor is it was multiple vehicles (3?), older driver hit two other cars

They should close that entrance down until they get funding for the traffic light. I also find it kinda funny that LENOWISCO wants to up the speed limit there and on 23 to 60. Also, they should make the entrance to the cancer center where the Inn is. That would alleviate some of the problem.

That section is reduced to 45 isn't it? I'd say it won't be raised to 60 through that particular section if they do go through with it.

I dread that place every time I head down to MECC for my classes. Scary stuff, man. And these reports make it even scarier.

They said on ch5 news that they were going to start construction of a traffic light there in about 2 weeks.
